East Coast Music Week Through The Eyes of an 8 Year Old (Thursday Night)

East Coast Music Week has been a great opportunity for my kids to get to meet some of their favourite artists and watch them play.  Because of the all-ages events (including the Concert at Grand Parade, the Delta Lobby stage, and the Pavillion) my 8-year-old and her younger brother got to watch about 15 East Coast artists play live.  (NOTE – her younger brother was also able to attend the CBC Mainstreet taping on Friday, so his artist count was up to about 20).  I gave my daughter the camera for the weekend.  All the photos and video (except the ones of the kids with the artists) were taken by her.  This is how she saw East Coast Music Week.

(Father’s Note: I am constantly amazed and grateful at how kind and generous the artists, managers, industry professionals, volunteers, etc are to these two young fans. A moment of your time, a smile or a kind word means a great deal.  A sincere thank you to all who showed kindness to these two kids this weekend.  They loved every minute of their time at East Coast Music Week)
