Celebrate Record Store Day in Halifax at Black Buffalo Records, Obsolete Records & Taz Records

Saturday April 20th is Record Store day.  This is a day to celebrate your local independent record stores.  There are always some Record Store Day exclusive releases and often live in-store music.

Halifax has some great independent record stores, including Black Buffalo Records, Obsolete Records and Taz Records.  Each have their own Record Day exclusives and specials and I encourage you to go check them out.  I personally cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Paper Beat Scissors “Tendrils”.

Taz Records has a stellar in-store line-up again this year featuring:

Joel Plaskett (12:00)
Mo Kenney (12:30)
Napeyes (2:00)
Windom Earle (3:00)
Jennah Barry (4:00)
Al Tuck (5:00)
Billie Dre & The Poor Boys (6:00)

This young fellow is particularly excited about seeing Joel Plaskett and Mo Kenney (again).  Here he is in August 2008 with Joel; and almost exactly 4 years later in 2012 with Mo.
