Song for the Day (Mother’s Day – May 12, 2013): Keith Hollohan – Pedestal of Gold

Keith Hollohan is an old friend from St. John’s.  Back when we were in our early-teens, Keith played guitar in a garage band with  JP Winslow (now a British Columbia based musician/actor), David Joyce and Rick Hollett (Timber, Hollywood Rose).  While Keith never pursued a career in music, it has always been near and dear to his heart and he has never stopped playing.

(JP Winslow & K Hollohan, circa 1985)

Last year, Keith wrote and recorded a song for his mother and gave it to her as a birthday present.  The song is dedicated to Keith’s mother and all the other mothers in his life.  Keith is sharing this song for Mother’s Day!!!

I could not figure out how to embed the song into this post, so you will have to click on the link below to hear it.  But hey…it’s Mother’s Day…you can make the extra click today.

  1. Way to go, Keith! You are so talented. Now you need to get the boat load of other catchy songs recorded! They’re in my head, but they should be on the radio!
