Prince Edward Island’s multiple award winner Lennie Gallant returns to Halifax for a show at The Carleton on November 19th and 20th. Gallant has released nine albums (seven in English and two in French), placed a song in the fan-voted CBC Radio “Top 10 East Coast Songs of All Time” (#4 – Peter’s Dream”), and won the Roots Recording of the Year ECMA for his latest release If We Had a Fire.
The past few months have seen Gallant performing several sold out shows with Symphony Nova Scotia, producing the new album for up and coming Prince Edward Island trad-fusion band, Ten Strings and A Goat Skin, Ontario and western Canadian tours, several high profile fundraisers and performing with the PEI Symphony.
Both shows at The Carleton will be recorded for an upcoming album.
