New Brunswick’s Katherine Moller plays “celtic fiddle with a classical twist”. Her music brings together the highlands of Scotland, the lush greens of Ireland and the majesty of the St. John River Valley. Moller, and ECMA nominee, has released three albums: Take The Happy Road (2007), By Request (2010) and Bright-Eyed and Bushy-Haired (2011) and in 2012, she won MusicNB’s Classical Artist of the Year award.
Moller has just released a new Christmas album, Greensleeves & Puddin’ Pies (available for purchase on her website) and celebrates her CD launch at the Charlotte St. Arts Centre in Fredericton on November 29th. Proceeds from the sales are being donated to the local food banks.
“The Legacy” is a song from Greensleeves & Puddin’ Pies written in memory of Moller’s father. The video features pictures from old photo albums designed to provide a glimpse into his life.
