Kickin’ Krotch nominated for Indigenous Music Award


New Brunswick’s Kickin’ Krotch has been nominated for an Indigenous Music Award for “Best New Artist”.  You can register and vote for Kickin’ Krotch here.

Formed in 2012, the band, featuring Michael Bernard (vocals), Sean Nicholas (drums), Kevin Connor Ward (bass), Frank Simon (guitar) and Kipp Sappier (guitar) released their debut album about a year later.  Kickin’ Krotch have previously been nominated for an East Coast Music Award (Aboriginal Recording of the Year) and an Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Award (Best Rock Album).  

“Kicking’ Krotch’s video for “Fearless” was featured as a Halifax Musicphile “Video of the Week” in November 2013.  

The Halifax Musicphile congratulates Kickin’ Krotch on their Indigenous Music Award and encourages you to vote for them.
