The Cheap Speakers (an indie four-piece powerpop group out of Toronto) make their only stop in Halifax at The Company House on Thursday, September 26th in support of their latest album Switches & Levers. Showtime is 9:00
Featuring Natalia Manzocco (guitar, vocals), Brennan Gault (bass), Tim Dafoe (guitar) and David Kochberg (drums/vocals), The Cheap Speakers have developed a hard-charging, but melodic sound that has taken them across Canada’s east coast, into campus charts, and onto stages with rising acts like The Balconies, Reversing Falls, Paper Lions, PUP, Hands & Teeth, July Talk, Amos The Transparent, Papermaps, Raised By Swans and Pick A Piper.
Opening the night will be Adam Mowery & This Ship (who were recently featured as our Video for the Day).
